LaGrange senior Cory Howard is one of five finalists for the 2015 Division III Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award presented by Barbasol.

Howard, Jack Cersosimo of Concordia (Texas), Redland's Bobby Holden, Oglethorpe's Anthony Maccaglia and Methodist's Mason Stutler are finalists for the honor that will be presented by Jack Nicklaus at a ceremony during the final round of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide Insurance at Muirfield Village Golf Club. Nicklaus, a Big Ten and NCAA Champion at The Ohio State University, helped inspire and create the Jack Nicklaus Awards in 1988.

Howard was selected as the USA South Conference Player of the Year and was on the All-Conference first team for the third straight year. He is the first LaGrange athlete to earn a USA South player of the year award. Howard has recorded seven top-10 finishes, six top-five finishes and placed first in three events. Howard was named USA South Golfer of the Week three times this season.
