Golf: Panthers finish tied for fourth at O'Briant-Jensen Invitational

GREENSBORO, N.C. - LaGrange concluded the fall portion of its 2013-14 schedule by tying for fourth at the O'Briant-Jensen Invitational hosted by Guilford College at the Sedgefield Dye Course.

The Panthers shot a final round team score of 307 for a two-day total of 612, tying them with Methodist. Greensboro won the tournament, followed by host Guilford and Hampden-Sydney.

Freshman Osborn Theam shot back-to-back rounds of 75 to tie for 11th with a total of 150. Anthony Scolapion had a final round 78 and tournament total of 152. Logan Lanier had a second round 76 and finished at 154. Cory Howard had back-to-back rounds of 78 for a 156 total. Alex Ball had a final round 87 to finish at 171.

The Panthers will open the Spring portion of the schedule March 1-2, 2014 at the Callaway Gardens Collegiate Invitational.
