Golf: Hudson Keener named first team PING All-American

Senior Hudson Keener capped an outstanding season by being selected to the PING first team All-America team for NCAA Division III announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. In addition, Keener was selected to the Division III PING Southeast All-Region team and was the Georgia Cup Division III Player of the Year.

Keener earned All-American honors for the third straight season. He is the first Panther golfer to be a three-time All-American. The all-region teams are also selected by the GCAA. Keener is on the team for the second straight year.

Keener is the Player of the Year for the Georgia Cup for the second time in three years. He is only the second player to receive player of the year honors twice. Keener's 71.98 stroke average was the fourth lowest recorded in the Georgia Cup history. The Georgia Cup is a tournament within a tournament recognizing Division III men's golf in Georgia.

Keener won four tournaments this spring. He was the Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the second straight year after winning the GSAC Championship Tournament.
