GREENSBORO, N.C. - The LaGrange golf team concluded its fall schedule with a fourth-place finish at the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial on Tuesday. The Panthers, ranked 17th in the Golfstat rankings, had a two-day total of 623 over the par 70 The Cardinal course.
Senior Hudson Keener had a tournament total of five-over par 145 to finish tied for sixth in the individual standings. Landon Petzel (159), Freddie Wolford (161), Hunter Keener (162) and Cory Howard (164) rounded out the scoring for the Panthers.
Host and top-ranked Guilford won the tournament with a score of 594. Greensboro and Methodist tied for second, two shots back of Guilford. The Panthers and Averett rounded out the top five in the 18-team tournament.
In the four fall tournaments, the Panthers finished 10th or better in all of them. The fourth place finish Tuesday was the best of the fall for the Panthers.
