Panthers 17th in team standings, Hudson Keener tied for fifth in individual standings at Division III golf championships

HERSHEY, Pa. - Junior Hudson Keener moved up in the individual standings at the NCAA Division III Golf Championships with a 4-under par 68 in Thursday's third round at the Hershey Links golf course. The Panthers dropped one spot in the team standings to 17th after a round of 302.

Keener started the day in 16th place in the individual standings. Keener's round of 68 tied him for the low round of the day. He is tied for fith heading into Friday's final round.

Keener was even par for the day after a front round of 36, with a bogey and a birdie each. He recorded four birdies on the back nine, finishing with back-to-back birdies on 17 and 18.

Adam Garrett and Brian Moore both had rounds of 5-over par 77. Hunter Keener had an 80 and Bo Tiller rounded out the scoring with an 81.

Top-ranked Methodist leads second-ranked Huntingdon by five shots heading to the final round. Guilford, defending national champion Oglehtorpe and St. John's (Minn.) round out the top five.
