Football: Four Panthers participate in Pro Day

Four LaGrange players participated in a Pro Day held at Callaway Stadium. NFL scouts from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennesse Titans conducted the workouts.

Senior offensive tackle Matt James, junior offensive guard Ryne Holland, junior receiver Griffin Roelle and junior Stephen Stinchcomb represented the Panthers.

The players went through various tests, including the 40-yard dash. Players were also administered the Wonderlic Test, a 12-minute, 50 question appitude test used by the NFL.

James and Stinchcomb were named to the USA South All-Conference second team this past season. Roelle set a school single-season reception record with 59, finishing with 675 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Panthers open the 2014 season at Birmingham-Southern on Sept. 6.
