Football: Team players of the week announced for Greensboro game

Head coach Todd Mooney has announced the team's players of the week for the Greensboro game. 

Junior receiver Griffin Roelle is the Offensive Player of the Week. Roelle tied a team record with three touchdown receptions in the Panthers' 35-21 win over Greensboro. He had scoring catches of 9, 33 and 41 yards, finishing the game with season highs of eight catches and 103 receiving yards. Roelle leads the team with 18 receptions and five touchdowns and is second with 240 receiving yards.

Sophomore defensive lineman Justin McIntyre is both the Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Week. McIntyre blocked a punt which led to the Panthers' first touchdown of the game in the win over Greensboro. The blocked punt was the first for the Panthers since the final game of the 2011 season. On defense, he totaled six tackles, intercepted a pass and forced a fumble. For the season, McIntyre leads the defensive linemen with 14 total tackles.

Freshmen Shelby Wilkes and Aron Huynh are the Scout Team Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
